Open Monday to Friday, 7 am – 2.30 pm, Saturday and Sunday, 8 am to 2.30 pm

Delicious food and a great place for breakfast.  No bookings so just go in but it can get really busy at lunchtimes.  Nice to sit outside in the summer and perfect for a meeting place after walking the Board Walk.

 

PBC Café

Open Monday to Friday, 7 am – 3 pm, Saturday and Sunday, 8 am to 3 pm

Lots of outside areas so great in the sunshine and perfect for a leisurely breakfast or just a cup of coffee. Part of the historic Poverty Bay Club and well worth a visit.  Next door to the Aviary shop with a wonderful selection of local gifts and bits and pieces.  

 

Zephyr Wainui

Open everyday 8am - 2pm

Vegan cafe and grocer in Wainui. Serves great breakfast bowls, delicious homemade vegan breakfasts and lunches and great coffee. Be in the know with this little treasure in the heart of Wainui Beach. You can bike from town on the cycleway – a perfect destination!

 

The Workshop

Open Tuesday–Friday 10 – 5, Saturday 10 – 1pm

Fabulous eclectic shop with the best little seating area for coffee and a chat with friends.  Honestly the nicest Italian almond biscuits I have ever had in my life!  All the other goodies are delicious too.  Browse, shop, drink coffee and eat – what could be more perfect!
